Soleado Villa

The villa was stunning and Spyros was an exceptional host. The property was spotless and it was handy to have the maid service half way through the week- not something I would expect with a villa so an added bonus. Spyros was on hand to answer any questions and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The villa is in a great location, about a 10min taxi ride into town and taxis were always very affordable. Would highly recommend Soleado villa and looking forward to staying again! Thanks Spyros!

Threre are places which you describe "there is everything you need". This place deserves a "there is everything you WANT". Modern and spacious interior, plenty of facilities like bbq, gym, to name just some of them. Now, the absolute hit is the heated pool located at the very top of the villa with the breathtaking view (you can see the sea shore from that level). The location of the villa itself is pretty optimal, it is still within the administrative district of the town of Chania, yet you are separated from the noise of e.g. the public transportation, etc. If you like walking you can actually walk to the old port (I guess it's 3 km). The hosts (Spyros and Ioanna) are extremally helpful and nice people, they gave us lots of tips about the local restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, etc. We spent the wonderful week there with our 4 yr old boy and will be looking forward to return.

La villa est vraiment exeptionnelle et surplombe toute la ville, la piscine est vraiment top! Cette vue ce gagne au prix d'un léger décalage par rapport centre ville environ 1km5. La cuisine est entierement équipée, chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bain et d'une climatisation Spyros est adorable et est à votre disposition pour de l'aide.

Séjour exceptionnel. Rooftop avec une vue splendide. Lieu calme mais proche de la ville. Il est facile d’aller à la plage et au centre ville à pied. Le logement est très propre, beaucoup d’équipements à disposition. Spyros est d’une gentillesse, à répondu à toutes nos questions et très attentionné. Merci encore

Sehr nette Gastgeber und eine sehr schöne Villa. Die Villa ist an einem ruhigen Ort und die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren mit 3 Freunden dort und haben jede Minute genossen. Wir können diese Villa jeden weiterempfehlen!

Very nice, new house with excellent facilities. The rooftop pool is amazing with great views. The hosts were very kind and helpful, we could not have wished for a better place.

Such great hosts with amazing communication and the property has everything you could need. We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t wait to come back again next summer.

They were very kind, responsive, and attentive hosts and provided us with great local restaurant suggestions. The villa had plenty of room for us - and the balcony pool offered unforgettable sunsets. Iwavva and Spyros clearly put a lot of thought and care into their villa - from the design of the rooms and bathrooms to the pool loungers to the kitchen and its accessories (a blender, toaster, coffee machine, grill accessories - truly everything you could ask for!) We can’t wait to plan our next stay with them. Thank you for having us!

Spyros was a wonderful host, he was quickly available for anything we needed and provided excellent suggestions for our stay in Chania. The villa is truly amazing, brand new and a 5 minute drive into town. Had an amazing experience and would love to return!

Our ferry was running late and we arrived to our Airbnb quite late in the evening. He stayed and waited to greet us and show us around the home. When walking in it is just so beautiful and exactly like the photos. We were given floats for the children to have fun in the pool and sweet treats from the bakery. I had our 7 year old and one year old and they both had a lovely time at the home. Anytime I needed anything or any suggestions the hosts were quick to respond and accommodate. The rooftop is just breathtaking during sunset and a great place to cool down during the hot summer afternoon. The beds were the most comfortable beds we had slept in in Greece. The home felt both comfortable and luxurious.

The house itself is wonderfully clean and brand new, well equipped with anything you would need on vacation, and comfortable. The host was so kind to us, bringing us a cake upon arrival from a local bakery and giving us the best recommendations whenever asked. He was very quick to respond with any questions and so nice, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I would stay here again on my next trip to Chania

Three large bedrooms and bathrooms, large indoor and outdoor dining space, and lots of great shared spaces both indoors and outdoors. There is a large workout space on the third floor of the house which, although not something we wouldn’t look for, was incredibly useful for our kids on a rainy day. The rooftop is also an amazing spot with a surprisingly large (and heated) pool. Ιωαννα greeted us upon arrival to give us a tour and even brought us a cake (which was outstanding). The host also brought us over some umbrellas to use as we went around the Old Venetian port on our rainy day.

They needed a relaxing weekend, and were able to get that - the hosts even provided all the baby accessories they needed and couldn't fly with! The hosts were wonderful, very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Chania!

It was incredibly hot during our stay so the rooftop pool was a great place to cool down. Area is beautiful with great restaurants and nice beaches. We had a great experience at this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely amazing property! Firstly it’s beautiful and finished to such a high standard, everything has been thought out amazingly and makes so much sense, nothing has been missed. We got towels for inside the villa and towels for using outside which was a welcome surprise. The mattresses are really comfortable so we slept well all week too. The pool was just another level and the space is an absolute sun trap. The owner is super helpful and is always a message away with taxi numbers, restaurant recommendations and places to see. Actually really gutted to leave as it’s probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. With regards to location it’s on a little bit of a hill in an area thats a bit more rural but the roads and pavements are starting to be developed so I think there will soon be more villas here. Its a 10/15 minute walk to the closest beaches nea chora/ golden shore beach which are a good mix of shallow quiet bays and beach bars and loungers so there’s something for everyone. It’s about a 25/30 minute walk to Chania harbour or 10 min taxi which is also really cheap. There are lots of buses but we didn’t use them. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful villa, decor is some of the best we've seen. Very nice quiet road in a great location, very close to Chania town which is amazing for restaurants and bars. Note you will likely need a car as quite far/hot to walk. Very close to some beautiful beaches and others are within driving distance. Host was great at recommending where to visit and very attentive to any questions. We loved that the host met us on arrival even though we were running very late!

This property has been so carefully thought out, it’s beautiful and made the trip much more special. The rooftop pool is simply perfect, from morning to evening you have sunshine, and the sunset up there is simply stunning! There were so many lovely and thoughtful touches and the welcome to the property is brilliant, Spyros was so friendly and all his tips on places to eat were brilliant! We really don’t have anything bad to say about this villa if you are thinking of staying then do it you really won’t regret it! Its only a quick taxi into town which is about 7€, yet you are far enough away for it not to be too loud, we personally loved the sounds of all the local animals! Our only very small suggestion would be a full length mirror perhaps on the first floor, but this is by no means a criticism, as the villa really is perfect!

It’s new and the pool view on top is amazing. the spa (or hot tub is NOT American hot. the solar water heater cannot make it as hot as what an American is used to.) however, a lovely soak as the sun goes down is wonderful! the beds and pillows are very comfy and the robes and towels are very nice as well. Spyros was awesome to work with and gave us great recommendations for dining and beaches etc.
